OUR STORY
The Central Land Council (CLC) is a corporate Commonwealth entity established under the Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory) Act 1976. The CLC represents traditional landowners, native title holders and other Aboriginal people in the southern half of the Northern Territory—an area of almost 780,000 square kilometres.
The CLC provides its constituents with advice, advocacy and practical assistance to support their aspirations, manage their land and realise and protect their rights.

THE ROLE
SP009 - Planning and Performance Officer
CL 6 - (Starting at $90,386 progressing to $103,828)
Fixed Term - 1 year
The Planning and Performance Officer will work with teams across the Central Land Council (CLC) to assist the organisation to strengthen its organisational performance measurement and related reporting and analysis. This will assist the CLC with its continuous improvement and contribute to effective delivery against its objectives.
Working closely with the Senior Planning and Performance Coordinator, this role will assist all CLC sections to review and revise performance measures, and enhance related performance dashboards and accessibility for decision-makers. It will support the development of the CLC’s annual performance statement, qualitative and quantitative information for Senate Estimates, and the CLC’s corporate plan. It will also assist with the organisation of related workshops with Council members and managers.
The candidate will exhibit strong performance measurement, monitoring, and reporting capabilities, established communication skills, and attention to detail and accuracy. They will bring capability to work autonomously and collaboratively, and engage effectively across different functions with a capacity building approach.

Total effective package includes: base salary, district allowance, superannuation, leave loading, relocation assistance, annual airfare allowance and salary packaging options. Annual progression within the salary scale is subject to satisfactory performance. Progression is in accordance with annual increments set out in an enterprise agreement.
